Missing teeth affect chewing, speech, confidence, and oral health. Medora Dental’s dental bridges offer a fixed, natural-looking solution, restoring your smile, function, and self-assurance effectively.
Dr. Ash and our Abbotsford restorative team have helped countless Fraser Valley residents bridge the gaps in their smiles with beautiful, functional restorations. Patients frequently tell us,“My bridge looks so natural, no one can tell I was missing teeth!”
While dental implants are often considered the gold standard for tooth replacement, bridges offer several compelling advantages in many situations:

Most recently, they fit me in the next morning after I chipped my tooth. I was in and out in 20 minutes. My 5 year old looks forward to his checkups because the staff is so great. Highly recommend.Posted on Google velvet federauTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So incredibly great with our toddler's.Posted on Google S LeblancTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been going to Medora for a few years now. I suffer from significant anxiety when going to the dentist and they have always taken care to make sure I am ok. I would say that since I have to go to the dentist this dentist manages to make the best of what will always be a crappy experience for me and i actually find my anxiety getting better. The only minor thing is I think communication could be a touch better when changes in hygienist or dentist occur as it tends to throw me off as to what i mentally prepare for but still 5 stars as far as a dentist goes.Posted on Google Penny StonehewerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very calming and friendly atmosphere. The staff was very thorough with my options. Would highly recommend!
Cost varies based on the number of teeth being replaced, the material used, and whether the bridge is tooth-supported or implant-supported. Traditional bridges are generally less expensive than implant-supported bridges since they don’t require surgery. During your consultation, we’ll give you a clear estimate based on your specific case.
It depends on your oral health, budget, and timeline. Bridges are faster (usually 2-3 weeks) and don’t require surgery, making them a good option if you have healthy abutment teeth or want to avoid an implant procedure. Implants preserve bone better long-term but take longer and cost more upfront. We’ll help you weigh both options at your consultation.
Coverage isn’t usually affected by how long ago you lost the tooth — it’s based on your plan’s terms for restorative or prosthodontic treatment. We’re happy to help you check your specific benefits.
A pontic is the artificial tooth that fills the gap left by your missing tooth. Abutment teeth are the healthy natural teeth (or implants) on either side of the gap that support the bridge, typically covered with crowns to anchor the pontic in place.
Contact us right away. A loose or dislodged bridge can expose the abutment teeth to damage or decay if left untreated. In many cases we can re-cement or repair the existing bridge; if the abutment teeth have changed, a new bridge may be needed.
Yes, once you’ve adjusted (usually within a week), a bridge restores most of your normal chewing function. We recommend avoiding very hard or sticky foods on that side, especially in the first few days.
